Make It OK
Make It OK is a program developed by Health Partners and supported by NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness). It is an anti-stigma movement created to encourage individuals to talk openly about mental illnesses. 1 in 5 Americans, from all walks of life, experiences a mental illness each year. Join us to learn “what to say” and “what not to say” to someone struggling with a mental illness. Learn how to start a conversation. By breaking the silence, we can help our friends, neighbors, loved ones, and colleagues feel understood and supported. Our presenter, Gail Mueller, is a trained NAMI Suicide Loss Survivor Speaker. She has spoken in area schools and churches for the past 5 years across the state of MN.
